Herbert Rose Building Restoration specializes in building restoration and Local Law 11 work. From roof systems to pressure cleaning to brick, stone, lintel, and sill replacement, the qualified craftsmen at Herbert Rose have been restoring landmark buildings to their original condition for generations. We are certified 20-year applicators for Johns-Manville, Kemper, U. S. INTECH, Decothane, Firestone roof systems, and certified applicators for cementicious coating and patching materials for names like Yahn, Sto, Sika, and Sonneborne. We provide the installation of sidewalk protection bridges and sheds, as well as full steel fabrication services for structural repair and replacement.

In 1987, Herbert Rose, Inc. became a division of the Rosenwach Group, a team of top service providers with a history spanning more than a century and a reputation for excellence. Since then, Herbert Rose, Inc. has earned its own reputation by restoring myriad properties, as well as such high-profile venues as the Brooklyn Bridge. Herbert Rose, Inc. is also responsible for the interior and exterior restoration work at the LaGuardia Center, the Rosenwach Group’s 120,000 square foot retail mall. The division even laid the foundation for the 150 car parking lot on-site. In addition to its expertise with a broad range of roofing and waterproofing materials Herbert Rose is one of the few firms in the area with its own group of masonry artisans. A rare class of professionals today, these skilled craftsmen are capable of restoring the finest architectural detail found on landmark buildings throughout the city. They are expert restorers of the terracotta and limestone finishes gracing so many of the city’s classic buildings. Another unique characteristic of Herbert Rose is its commitment to comprehensive services without subcontracts. Scaffolding, sidewalk sheds and various rigs are provided directly from the company. Moreover the entire staff of Herbert Rose are not only expert riggers, roofers, water proofers, masons and construction workers but are all union members. As a result, the employees of Herbert Rose share the same goals and work ethics, and provide unparalleled service to meet top standards.
